About the role

You will own the application layer of our deployments end to end, frontend and backend. The product surface is yours. You take customer requirements through to software that holds up against messy production data, and keep it stable as the deployment grows.

This is a senior role with real autonomy. You own the surface, set the engineering bar for the application layer, and mentor the more junior full-stack engineers alongside you. The work moves fast and starts close to the customer, so you need to be comfortable prototyping in a live environment and hardening what works into a product people depend on.

What you'll work on

• Own the application layer across deployments end to end, taking customer requirements through to a shipped, stable product surface rather than handing off a spec.
• Drive consistency, quality, and stability across the application as it evolves.
• Set the engineering bar for the application layer and mentor the team.
• Prototype with customers, then harden what works into something reliable.

Requirements

• 6 or more years building production applications end to end, frontend and backend, ideally for critical operational environments where reliability and uptime matter.
• Senior-level autonomy, with a track record of owning a product surface solo.
• Strong with TypeScript and React, plus a modern backend stack such as Node, Python, or Go.
• Production experience with relational databases, api design, and cloud deployment.
• A high bias to ship, comfortable prototyping with customers and hardening afterward.
• A track record at a top-tier tech company, top startup, or forward-deployed engineering organization.
